ACRM Overview

The ACRM (Actors Contact Relationship Manager) is your private address book for your career: the casting directors, directors, agents and fellow actors you meet, the projects you work on, and your own notes about all of them. Everything in it belongs to you alone; no other member can ever see it. It works on your computer and your phone, in any browser.

The front page #

The search box is the heart of the ACRM. Type anything: a name, a film title, a year, a city, a tag, a job, or a combination such as "female athens 35". Every word narrows the results further.

Below the search you see up to 30 people: your starred favourites first, then those you opened most recently. "Browse all" pages through everyone alphabetically. Your ten most recently opened projects follow as cards, with a button to the full list. The menu at the bottom of the page leads to Import, Tags, Duplicates and Export.

Find your way around #

• People: adding contacts, their details, birthdays, favourites and relationships.
• Projects and events: linking people to productions and logging what happened.
• Tags, encrypted notes and appearance: your private words, your unreadable notes, and the automatic photo traits.
• Importing and exporting: moving contacts in from Google, Apple, Outlook and others, and taking them out again.
• Duplicates and merging: cleaning up doubles safely.
• On your phone: installing the ACRM like an app on Android or iPhone.

Who can use it #

The ACRM is for actor accounts. Every actor can store people, projects, tags and photos. The encrypted notes and automatic appearance traits are a Pro feature; see tags and notes.
