ACRM Phone
On a phone the ACRM slims itself down: the site menus give way to a compact bar, the search box leads, people show as large tiles two across, and the menu sits at the bottom where your thumb is. On a computer, any browser and a normal bookmark are all you need. On a phone you can go one better and install it like an app.
Install on Android #
- Open Chrome (or Samsung Internet or Edge) and go to encast.pro/acrm.
- Open the browser menu and choose "Install and create shortcut". Older versions call it "Add to Home screen".
- An ACRM icon appears on your home screen. It opens full screen, without browser bars, and shows in your app switcher like any app.
Browsers such as DuckDuckGo or Firefox can only make an ordinary shortcut; use one of the browsers above for the real install, and keep whichever browser you prefer for everything else.
Install on iPhone and iPad #
- Open Safari and go to encast.pro/acrm.
- Tap the share button, then "Add to Home Screen", then Add.
Staying signed in #
Tick "keep me logged in" when signing in and the installed app stays signed in by itself, for thirty days after your last visit, independently of your other devices. The installed app keeps its own sign-in, so log in once the first time you open it.
Your encrypted notes on the phone #
Notes unlock per device. The first time you open them on the phone, enter your ten word recovery phrase once; afterwards they open automatically on that phone. Searching, importing and exporting all work on the phone exactly as on the computer.
