A respected surgeon's settled domestic life begins to unravel when a young woman starts sending him mysterious bouquets of flowers, awakening an obsession that strains his long marriage. The situation builds towards a shattering revelation that exposes the fragility beneath the surface of their apparently comfortable bourgeois existence.
