House with Lilies (Dom s liliyami)
Geregisseerd door Vladimir Krasnopolsky (2014)
A young Ukrainian woman in the 1930s falls in love with a Soviet secret police officer, only to find herself drawn into the brutal machinery of Stalinist repression. As political terror tightens its grip on their community, her personal happiness becomes impossible to separate from the violence and betrayal surrounding her. The story follows her struggle to survive and preserve her sense of self amid collectivisation, denunciations, and the devastating human cost of the era.
