Cherif

A French television crime drama following Cherif Pathé, a cheerful and unorthodox Algerian-born police detective working in the city of Le Mans, whose unconventional methods and warm personality often clash with the more rigid attitudes of his colleagues. Despite cultural differences and occasional friction within the team, he consistently proves his instincts correct whilst investigating a range of murders and serious crimes. The series blends procedural drama with moments of humour, drawing much of its character from Cherif's outsider perspective within the French justice system.
