The Future

A couple in their thirties decide to adopt a stray cat, but must wait a month before they can bring it home — a delay that leads them to quit their jobs and reassess their lives entirely. As each embarks on a separate journey of self-discovery, their relationship begins to unravel in increasingly surreal ways. The film is narrated in part by the injured cat itself, and time becomes an unstable, malleable force as the characters grapple with the terrifying openness of an uncertain future.
