Freud

A young Sigmund Freud, struggling for professional recognition in 1880s Vienna, becomes entangled in a web of hypnosis, occult forces and political conspiracy after encountering a traumatised medium named Fleur. Together with a detective and an aristocratic soldier, he investigates a series of disturbing crimes that challenge the boundaries between science and the supernatural. The series blends historical fiction with dark fantasy, depicting Freud developing his early psychological theories whilst confronting deeply sinister forces threatening the Austro-Hungarian empire.
