Joseph

A lavish television adaptation of the biblical story from Genesis, following the life of Joseph, the favourite son of Jacob, whose brothers sell him into slavery out of jealousy. Transported to Egypt, Joseph rises from bondage to become a powerful figure in the Pharaoh's court, largely through his remarkable gift for interpreting dreams. His journey culminates in a dramatic reunion with the family who once betrayed him.
