Rebel

A young Belgian woman of Moroccan heritage becomes radicalised and travels to Syria to join Islamic State, believing she is fighting for a righteous cause. Her brother, desperate to bring her home, follows her into the conflict zone, navigating dangerous territory to reach her. The film explores how extremist ideology fractures families and communities, tracing the human consequences of radicalisation on both sides of the divide.
