Mar De Plástico

A young police officer is assigned to a rural community in southern Spain's vast greenhouse region, where the local economy depends on an army of migrant workers living in harsh conditions. When a murder occurs, he begins to uncover layers of exploitation, corruption and dark secrets buried beneath the surface of this isolated agricultural world. The investigation forces him to confront the tensions between the local population and the vulnerable immigrants who toil in the plastic-covered fields.
