A documentary exploring the fate of HMHS Britannic, the sister ship of the Titanic, which sank in the Aegean Sea during the First World War whilst serving as a hospital ship. The film examines the circumstances of her sinking, thought to have been caused by a German mine, and investigates the wreck through underwater exploration. Survivor accounts and expert analysis are used to piece together what happened on that fateful day in 1916.
