A group of wealthy Italian families converge on the glamorous ski resort of Cortina d'Ampezzo for the Christmas holidays, bringing with them romantic entanglements, comic misunderstandings, and class tensions. The various characters — including nouveaux riches social climbers and established aristocrats — clash and flirt against the backdrop of the snowy Dolomites. Their intersecting stories build to a series of farcical and sentimental resolutions over the festive period.
