Ethan Hunt, an elite IMF agent, is framed for the deaths of his entire team during a botched operation in Prague and goes on the run to uncover the real mole within the agency. Teaming up with a small crew of disavowed operatives, he orchestrates a daring heist inside CIA headquarters to obtain a stolen list of undercover agents. The trail leads him to a confrontation on a high-speed Channel Tunnel train with the duplicitous handler who engineered the conspiracy from the start.
