A former detective takes a job as a cruise ship entertainer and finds himself repeatedly drawn into murder investigations aboard the vessel. Alongside a senior officer who becomes his reluctant partner, he applies his investigative instincts to solve crimes among passengers and crew in exotic international waters. The series blends light-hearted comedy with traditional whodunit mystery in the style of a classic cosy crime drama.
