Franklin

Benjamin Franklin arrives in France during the American Revolutionary War, tasked with persuading the French court to back the colonial cause against Britain. Ageing and in poor health, he must navigate the treacherous politics of Versailles whilst contending with a suspicious rival diplomat and the glamour of Parisian society. The series follows his diplomatic struggle to forge the alliance that would prove decisive in securing American independence.
