A group of young British friends who are romantically coupled up agree to swap partners for a period of time, believing the experiment will strengthen their relationships. As the arrangement unfolds, long-suppressed feelings, jealousies and personal failings come to the surface, complicating the lives of everyone involved. What began as a seemingly liberated social experiment gradually reveals the fragility of trust and commitment within modern relationships.
