Law & Order: Los Angeles
(2011)
A Los Angeles-based spin-off of the long-running crime procedural franchise, following detectives as they investigate serious crimes across the city before handing cases over to prosecutors who navigate the complexities of the legal system. The series transplants the familiar two-part structure of police investigation and courtroom drama to a sun-drenched Southern California setting, with the sprawling metropolis and its distinctive social landscape shaping both the crimes and their legal aftermath.
