Critically acclaimed, Mi Kwan has been the female lead in 6 feature films shot around the globe which have been premiered in such festivals as Busan International 2015 and Palm Springs International 2016. Her performance in "A Korean in Paris" gained notice and introduced her to the international press. The famous cinema magazine VARIETY described her performance as “Striking and poignant”.
She made her directorial, producer, and scriptwriter debut with the award-winning short film "Red Karma” and made Los Angeles her base of operations between 2017 and 2020, where she won the UP(st)ART “Artist of the Year” Award 2018 among a 1000+ artists.
Mi Kwan also won 10 Acting Awards at several film festivals in 2024 for her performance as an abused wife in “Noce de muguet” (Lace anniversary).
Jury member of several film festivals, she also works as a dubbing, voice-over and Motion Capture actress. Mi Kwan is French-born of Chinese descent and Madagascar-raised.
