EUROPE: actors (m/f) 45-60, Greek and English spkrs, for BBC series shooting in Malta [P]

ROLE: STEFANOS m, 45, need to speak both Greek and English A gentle, mature and sensible man. He is the policeman on the island. He has a young, good-looking boyfriend. He appears in eps 4,7 and 8.

ROLE: Ares m, 50s, need to speak both Greek and English Ares is the main boat rental person on the island. He has an office by the Getty. His boats seem quite rough and there is a suspicion that they are recycled Immigrant boats, or that he may be involved in human trafficking. Ares appears in 4 episodes out of 8 – he speaks in Greek and broken English.

ROLE: YIANNIS m, 50s, need to speak both Greek and English Yiannis is the owner of the local Taverna, we later find out he is also the owner of the Villa in which the protagonists are staying. He appears in Eps 3-8. As we progress through the episodes it becomes clear that he welds a lot more influence on the island than he lets us believe.

ROLE: VASILIKI f, 50-60s, need to speak both Greek and English Vasiliki is the housekeeper. She is probably the most important Greek role - she appears in Eps 1-3 and 5-8. Vasiliki is a religious woman but also seems to be in touch with the ancient gods of Greece. She has some mystical knowledge mixed with a conservative island mentality…
