Over mij

I’m a European-Japanese model, writer, presenter and lifelong traveller. Having grown up across different countries and cultures, curiosity about the world and connecting with people have always been at the heart of who I am. I’m the co-author of Mixed Feelings, a book exploring our emotional relationship with the digital world, and I’m endlessly fascinated by the relationship between personal and collective change, the stories that shape us and the many different ways we live. I love getting lost in unfamiliar places, meeting people from all walks of life, and finding beauty, humour and meaning in the everyday.

Presenting & Travel Experience

I recently hosted Desa Dialogues, a travel documentary series for Potato Head, journeying through Bali and Java to explore how knowledge, traditions and cultural wisdom move between people, places and generations.

My presenting experience spans television, radio, digital media and live events. I’ve presented two series for the BBC, including projects for BBC Three and BBC Sounds such as Beauty Fix and Obsessed with Killing Eve. I’ve also presented for VICE, MTV, NME News, NET-A-PORTER, London Fashion Week and TED.

Having grown up across different countries and cultures, travel has always been a fundamental part of my life. I’m particularly drawn to the stories behind places, the people who shape them and the unexpected connections that happen along the way. I bring curiosity, warmth, humour and a genuine love of human connection to my presenting work.
