Angie Tribeca
(2016)
A deadpan parody of police procedural dramas, the show follows Detective Angie Tribeca and her team at the LAPD's elite Reunited Investigators unit as they tackle absurd, increasingly outlandish crimes. The humour relies heavily on sight gags, non-sequiturs, and relentless spoofing of crime drama conventions, drawing comparisons to the style of the Airplane! and Police Squad! franchises.
