A group of British expatriates drift through sun-soaked hedonism on the Spanish island of Ibiza, their days consumed by parties, drugs, and aimless romantic entanglements. At the centre is a young woman who arrives on the island and finds herself gradually drawn into this dissolute world. The film observes how this community of escapists resist any sense of responsibility or consequence, existing in a kind of perpetual, hazy present.
