A group of American teenagers travel to England to attend a prestigious performing arts school, where they compete for places whilst navigating romantic entanglements with one another. The series follows their social lives, rivalries, and budding relationships as they pursue their dreams in an unfamiliar country. A panel of judges oversees the competitive element, ultimately deciding which students earn the right to stay.
