A space shuttle mission goes catastrophically wrong when the crew encounters a mysterious phenomenon that sends them through a rift in space and time. The surviving astronauts find themselves stranded and struggling to understand what has happened to them, whilst government officials on Earth attempt to cover up the incident. The crew must find a way back whilst grappling with the strange and disorienting nature of their predicament.
