A group of mismatched survivors flee a zombie outbreak in Birmingham by commandeering a narrowboat and navigating the city's canal network. The group includes two sisters with clashing personalities, a nerdy zombie-fiction enthusiast, and his flatmate, all of whom must learn to coexist whilst evading the undead. As they travel the waterways in search of safety, the cramped conditions and constant peril test their relationships and force unlikely alliances.
