Two young women from vastly different backgrounds — one a Muslim girl of Moroccan heritage, the other a white Dutch girl — form an unlikely friendship on the streets of Amsterdam. When they discover they share the same absent father, they embark on a journey to Morocco to track him down. The trip forces both of them to confront questions of identity, belonging, and family in ways neither had anticipated.
