A young Korean woman is adopted by a Swedish family as a child and grows up navigating the tension between her Korean heritage and her Swedish upbringing. As an adult, she returns to South Korea to search for her biological roots and confront the painful circumstances of her abandonment. The journey forces her to reconcile two cultures and identities that have always pulled her in opposite directions.
