The third series of this European co-production follows the continued rise and consolidation of power by the Borgia family in Renaissance Italy, as Rodrigo Borgia navigates the treacherous politics of the papal court whilst his children pursue their own ruthless ambitions. Cesare grows increasingly dominant as a military and political force, while family rivalries, betrayals, and deadly scheming threaten the dynasty from within and without.
