A couple whose car breaks down in a remote desert area seeks help at an isolated compound run by a reclusive preacher and his mysterious captive. They soon discover that the preacher is harbouring a dangerous supernatural child connected to the malevolent force that compels youngsters to commit acts of violence. As strange and terrifying events unfold around them, the couple desperately try to escape before they too fall victim to the sinister entity's power.
