A factory worker becomes increasingly disturbed when he realises his colleagues and those around him seem to be conspiring against him, whilst his body wastes away from an extreme inability to sleep. As paranoia and mysterious strangers drive him towards a breakdown, he is haunted by cryptic clues that point towards a traumatic secret buried in his past. The film builds towards a revelation about guilt and self-punishment that reframes everything the audience has witnessed.
