A day of tension unfolds within the Zweifler family as personal grievances and long-standing resentments continue to surface. The episode deepens the portrait of a Jewish family running a delicatessen in Frankfurt, where questions of identity, tradition and belonging press on each member differently. Relationships are tested as individual characters struggle to reconcile their private desires with the expectations placed upon them by family and community.
