When he is diagnosed with a degenerative illness that threatens his mental faculties, he must struggle to maintain his grip on power as rivals and even trusted allies begin to circle. The series explores themes of loyalty, family, and the corrupting nature of ambition as Nemo's carefully constructed world begins to fracture around him.
