An Inspector Calls
(2018)
A prosperous Edwardian family's engagement celebration is shattered when a police inspector arrives to question them about the suicide of a young working-class woman. As Inspector Goole methodically interrogates each family member, it emerges that every one of them played a part in the girl's tragic downfall. The evening's revelations expose the hypocrisy and moral failings lurking beneath the family's respectable façade, leaving them to grapple with questions of collective responsibility and guilt.
