Inspired by the poem “If I Must Die” by Palestinian writer and poet Refaat Alareer, this theatre production is developed through an interdisciplinary creative process. Body, space, image, light and sound form a shared performance language in which performers actively shape the dramaturgy of the work.
Working language (rehearsals): English

Payment: Profit share payment model with priority on the actors. We will participate in Jordan Theatre Festival and go on tour.

Who We're Looking For
• Performers with a strong physical and stage presence.
• An interest in collaborative, process-based creation.
• Curiosity for devised, physical or interdisciplinary performance practices.
• The ability to work with precision, responsiveness, listening and ensemble awareness.
• Full commitment throughout the rehearsal and performance period.
• Professional experience or equivalent professional training.
• Additional experience in movement, dance, contemporary circus, music or performance art will be considered an asset.
Selection Process:
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis from the publication date of this call until 20 August 2026. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to participate in the selection process throughout this period. Early applications are encouraged, as auditions and casting decisions may take place before the closing date.
The selection process may include physical and movement-based exercises, individual and group improvisations, spatial awareness tasks and a conversation with the artistic team.
Applicants are not required to prepare material in advance. Additional material or tasks may be requested during later stages of the selection process.
