Panoramica del casting
A new film by artist Narges Mohammadi, made as part of her upcoming solo exhibition 'To (Un)Document' at Loods6 in Amsterdam. The work explores belonging, visibility, memory and the lives of people who remain unseen within society, drawing partly from Mohammadi's experience growing up in an asylum seekers' centre. The film examines what it means to be documented or undocumented, and how systems determine who becomes visible and who disappears.
The performance will be subtle and closely directed by Rik Komáromi, with an emphasis on natural presence and small gestures rather than conventional acting.
Shoot date: 13 October 2026, in Delft.
This is a non-paid production.
Ruoli
Approximately 20 performers needed. Professional acting experience is welcome but not necessary. Ideally, candidates have some experience on a film set or performing for camera, are comfortable taking direction and repeating actions, and enjoy working as part of a larger group.
