If you are not getting alerts about new castings, there are a few things to check.

1. Alerts Must Be Turned On #

You need to turn on alerts in your profile. Without this, we will not send you any casting emails.

Go to Edit Profile > Alerts and make sure Receive Alerts is set to Yes.

2. Your Profile Must Be Filled In #

We match castings to your profile. If your profile is missing information, we cannot match you. Make sure you have filled in your gender, playing age, and languages.

If any of these are empty, you will not be matched to castings, even if alerts are turned on.

3. Check Your Country Settings #

In Edit Profile > Alerts, you can choose which countries you want to receive alerts for.

If All Countries is set to No, you will only get alerts for the countries you have selected. If you have not selected any countries, you will not get any alerts.

4. Add Nearby Countries #

If you are able to travel, do not limit yourself to just your own country. Add the countries near you as well. For example, if you live in the Netherlands, you could also add Belgium and Germany. This will give you more casting alerts and more chances to be seen.

5. Check Your Unpaid Casting Setting #

If Receive Unpaid is set to No, you will only get alerts for paid castings. Many castings are unpaid or expenses only. If you want to see everything, set this to Yes.

6. Check Your Email Spam Folder #

Sometimes our emails end up in your spam or junk folder. Check there. If you find our emails in spam, mark them as "not spam" so future emails go to your inbox.

7. There May Not Be a Match #

We only send alerts when a casting matches your profile. If there are no castings that match your age, gender, language, and country, you will not receive an email. This does not mean anything is wrong. It just means there is nothing for you right now.
