If you select Visible on Search in your profile, you will appear in the search results when a CD is looking for actors.

But how do we decide which actors to show to CDs first? This page explains.

Search Order #

At the top are all the Verified Actors. 

Then come the Pro Actors.

Then come all the other actors.

But... within each group, we also apply a search algorithm.

• there is randomisation; every hour we update the list order so that the same people don't always appear at the top of the pile
• we take into account if the user has a complete profile with plenty of pictures and sound files and a full More About Me section, etc.
• we also look at how often the user's profile has been viewed

How to Raise your Search Rank #

It's pretty simple. Here are the top ways to raise your position in the search results so that CDs see your profile 

1. If you are not yet a Pro Actor, upgrade to Pro
2. Become Verified (for Pro Actors only)
3. Make sure your profile is complete with as much information and content as possible
4. Get people to view your profile — send your profile link round so other actors, film people, CDs, and even friends and family check it out and help raise your profile views
