A celebrated novelist holes up in a Paris hotel room whilst struggling with his latest work, and his life becomes intertwined with three separate love stories unfolding across different cities. The narrative weaves between a passionate and destructive affair in Paris, a custody battle in New York, and a mysterious romance in Rome. As the stories develop, questions arise about whether these tangled relationships exist in reality or exist only within the pages of the writer's fiction.
