A teenage girl discovers that her unremarkable father is actually central to an ancient Norse prophecy that could bring about the end of the world. Drawing on Germanic and Norse mythology, she must help prevent a catastrophic event tied to the legendary fire-bringer. The film blends family adventure with mythological lore, following Mara as she navigates a world where gods and monsters turn out to be very real.
