A woman who gave up her teenage daughter for adoption years earlier unexpectedly re-enters the girl's life, forming an uneasy bond during an extended stay. As the two navigate their complicated feelings about the past, the mother's volatile and erratic behaviour begins to unsettle the daughter and those around her, blurring the line between genuine connection and emotional manipulation.
