As God Commands

A teenage boy living in a remote Italian community forms an intense, troubled bond with his volatile, alcoholic father, whose extreme views and erratic behaviour shape their isolated existence. When a violent act shatters their world during a brutal winter storm, the consequences prove irreversible for everyone around them. The film explores themes of damaged masculinity, parental failure, and the desperate longing for connection between a parent and child ill-equipped to express it.
