A teenage girl living in a deprived industrial town in northern Italy forms an intense bond with her troubled older brother, whose reckless behaviour and involvement in a local criminal underworld puts both of them at risk. As she struggles to keep her fractured family together in the shadow of a crumbling steel mill, she must choose between loyalty to her brother and finding her own path forward.
