A Finnish detective and a German virologist join forces when a dead sex worker is discovered in Lapland, her body carrying traces of a lethal and mysterious virus. Their investigation pulls them into a web of trafficking networks and political cover-ups stretching across borders. As further deaths occur and the virus threatens to spread, the two investigators must navigate both professional tensions and the brutal Arctic environment to uncover the truth.
