Houdini & Doyle

A fictional series pairing the real-life figures of escape artist Harry Houdini and Sherlock Holmes creator Arthur Conan Doyle as amateur investigators working alongside a female police constable in Edwardian London. The two leads approach their casework from opposing perspectives, with the sceptical Houdini dismissing supernatural explanations whilst the spiritually inclined Doyle remains open to the paranormal. Each episode centres on a mysterious crime that appears to involve occult or inexplicable forces, leaving the audience to weigh the rational against the uncanny.
