A group of former British Army officers, each fallen on hard times after the war, are recruited by their commanding officer to carry out a meticulously planned bank robbery. The men train and prepare with military precision, exploiting their specialist skills to execute the heist. As the plan unfolds, their discipline is tested and the line between honour and criminality is blurred.
