A French suburban mother, feeling invisible and taken for granted by her family, begins fabricating a terminal illness to win back their attention and affection. The deception spirals increasingly out of control as those around her respond in unexpected ways, forcing her to maintain ever more elaborate lies. The series explores themes of identity, neglect, and the lengths people will go to in order to feel seen and loved.
