Kruimeltje

A scrappy orphaned street child in early twentieth-century Netherlands struggles to survive on her own whilst searching for a place she can truly call home. Along the way she forms unlikely bonds with various characters who shape her understanding of kindness and belonging. The story, based on a classic Dutch novel, follows her journey from hardship towards the possibility of a better life.
