A former Ulster loyalist paramilitary prepares to face the brother of a Catholic man he murdered decades earlier, in a television encounter staged for reconciliation purposes. The film weaves between past and present, showing both the original killing and the psychological burden each man has carried ever since. As the long-anticipated meeting draws near, the victim's brother struggles with whether he can truly forgive — or whether he wants to.
