A woman returns to a small Swedish town and becomes entangled in both a legal dispute and an unexpected romantic complication involving a local judge. As the two clash over professional matters, their relationship gradually shifts from conflict towards something warmer. The story unfolds against the scenic Swedish countryside typical of the Inga Lindström television film series.
