A young woman takes a job as a carer for a wealthy man who was paralysed in an accident and has withdrawn from life. As the two grow closer, she becomes determined to show him that his life still holds value and joy. However, she gradually discovers that he has already made a profound and irreversible decision about his own future, forcing her to confront what it truly means to love someone.
